Catherine Shu is a writer and communications professional based in Taipei. She is Head of Content at Gobi Partners, where she works on content strategy and writes in-depth articles about startups across the Asia-Pacific. Before Gobi, Catherine was Director of Content and Media at The P.R. Group, a boutique agency that serves tech companies. Catherine gained in-depth experience writing about startups and venture capital as a senior reporter at TechCrunch. While there, she covered the tech industry in all Asian markets and put it into context for international audiences. Her favorite thing to do is observe how culture and human behavior influence startup and venture ecosystems, and vice versa.
